Stayhealthy.com, a health and fitness information provider, has named Tom Ivicevic as Web Publisher and Editor. John Collins, chief executive officer of Stayhealthy.com, made the announcement.
Ivicevic will be responsible for content and design of the company's website. He will also oversee integration into the site of the new BC1 Body Composition and Personal Calorie Tracker, Stayhealthy.com's subscriber-based health and fitness monitoring device scheduled for launch to consumer and clinical markets in June.
Prior to joining Stayhealthy.com, Ivicevic worked with ATG Media, Inc., where he published Final Frontier Magazine, a monthly magazine dedicated to space exploration, and distributed Drive It Forever, a best-selling book on automotive repair and maintenance. Ivicevic has been a Web design consultant for several companies and has more than 16 years experience in production of broadcast television and corporate projects for public broadcast stations, and major studios and networks, including CBS and Universal Studios.
``Tom Ivicevic's broad understanding of media and content, and his extensive internet development and marketing experience, makes him uniquely qualified to lead the growth of the Stayhealthy.com Web site and, in doing so, bring value to our consumers and marketing partners,'' said Collins.
The BC1 Body Composition and Personal Calorie Tracker allows users to accurately monitor their body composition and measure caloric burn through the use of a desktop device and a Personal Calorie Tracker, a device that looks like a pager that allows users to monitor their caloric burn by measuring and recording body movement. The BC1 works with Stayhealthy software to allow users to connect their computers to Stayhealthy.com and view performance graphs, news and other personalized information.
