Posted on October 23, 1997

Penguin Putnam Inc. and fellow Pearson, plc company Headland Digital Media today announced the launch of the Wizard and Glass website to support the Plume trade paperback release of Wizard and Glass, the fourth volume in Stephen King's epic Dark Tower series.

The Wizard and Glass website serves as an online community for Stephen King fans, providing detailed information on the highly anticipated book and its author. Site visitors will be able to test their knowledge of the Dark Tower story line in the "Dark Tower Trivia Challenge," to chat with other enthusiasts online, and to register for a chance to win a trip for two to the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, (a.k.a. the "Overlook" Hotel in the movie version of Stephen King's The Shining). In addition, the site offers unique screensavers using the original Dave McKean artwork from Wizard and Glass.
