Steve Jobs Biography a Bestseller in Asia

Walter Isaacson's biography of Steve Jobs is a bestseller in Asia. The Chinese language version is being snapped up by Jobs fans who hit bookstores at 7:00 a.m. to score a copy of the book, which was published last month. Citic Press is the publisher of the book's Chinese version.

Sales in Asia continue to be brisk since the launch. Shanghai and Taipei were just two of the cities that had people lining up outside bookstores to purchase the authorized biography. The fans are eager to learn more about Steve Jobs, the man. Several customers said they wanted to know more about his daily life and personal details about him. A video on bbc.com shows Asian admirers of jobs queued up to buy the new biography.

Citic Press Editor-in-Chief Pan Yue told The Wall Street Journal that he hoped the biography will spur more innovation in China.
