Steven Millhauser Wins The Story Prize

Steven Millhauser is the winner of The Story Prize for books published in 2011. Millhauser won for his collection, We Others: New & Selected Stories, which includes seven new stories and fourteen stories from previous collections. Millhauser received a cash prize of $20,000.
The runners up were Don DeLillo, for his first short story collection, The Angel Esmeralda, and Edith Pearlman for Binocular Vision. They each received $5,000.
The Story Prize is an annual award given to a book of short stories published in English in the United States. Each year there is a winner and two runners up.
