Struggling London street musician James Bowen met a stray cat, named Bob, that changed his life. Bowen found Bob in spring 2007. Bob was an injured stray hiding in Bowen's apartment building. Bowen spent his last money on Bob's medicine and nursed him back to life. One day Bob followed him to work.

James says, "That was the day that changed our lives." People started donating more generously with Bob the cat around.
