Tagworld Raises $7.5 Million in Financing

TechCrunch reports that Tagworld has completed a round of venture capital financing for $7.5 million from Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Tagworld is a social networking service with over one million members. It provides users with profiles, videos, friends and bookmarks.

Tagworld also has its own music players and it recently debuted a classified section in an attempt to grow revenues. Like most of the other social networking services Tagworld also offers blogs and a section on Tagworld shows all of the latest blog posts in Tagworld. TechCrunch notes that Tagworld's rival Tagged also recently raised 7 million.
