Ten Speed Press and Food52 Team Up for New Cookbook Imprint

Posted on April 30, 2014

Ten Speed Press is launching a new cookbook imprint with crowdsourced cooking website Food52. The new imprint will be edited by Hannah Rahill, the Vice President and associated publisher of Ten Speed Press, who will work with Food52 founders Amanda Hesser and Merrill Stubbs. The line will debut in the sprint of 2015 with Genius Recipes: 100 Recipes That Will Change the Way You Cook by Kristen Miglore.

The imprint is planning to publish a series of books, each on a single subject. The recipes will be written by experts and by contributors to Food52. The first single subject book will be about baking, followed by vegan cooking. The imprint will publish three to four books a year.

Ten Speed publisher Aaron Webner had this to say about the collaboration, "Ive been an avid reader of Food52 since the site first launched. And it has been fascinating to see how Amanda and Merrill have nurtured it from a dedicated community of passionate home cooks to one of the premier publications in the online food space, both in terms of content and aesthetics."
