The top five books on the list are:

American Subervsive by David Goodwillie. (Scribner)

Angelology by Danielle Trussoni. (Viking)

The Ask by Sam Lipsyte (Farrar, Straus & Giroux)

Bound by Antonya Nelson. (Bloomsbury)

Comedy in a Minor Key by Hans Keilson. Translated by Damion Searls. (Farrar, Straus & Giroux)
