Thomas Nelson Announces Acquisition of Rutledge Hill Press

Thomas Nelson, Inc. has announced the purchase of substantially all the assets of Rutledge Hill Press, the Nashville publishing house best known for such New York Times bestsellers as Life's Little Instruction Book, Live and Learn and Pass It On, both by H. Jackson Brown, Jr., and America's Dumbest Criminals.

"Bringing Rutledge Hill Press into the Nelson family of publishers is something we have wanted to do for some time," said Sam Moore, president of Nelson. "Larry Stone, president of Rutledge Hill Press, was one of the key people who, several years ago, laid the foundation of the development of the book program at Thomas Nelson. The addition of Rutledge Hill gives us a stronger presence in the general trade market."
