Shane Salerno, the director of the recent Salinger documentary, discusses the research he did for the film. Salerno reveals that there are many manuscripts that will be published in the future, according to Salinger's instructions. The next manuscript will most likely be released n 2015, although the family will not confirm that. Take a look: Three works by J.D. Salinger have been leaked online. The works, The Ocean Full of Bowling Balls, which is housed at Princeton University and is only available to scholars, and the two short stories "Paula" and "Birthday Boy" which are housed at the University of Texas in Austin Texas, were sold in an Ebay auction in a mysterious manuscript that may have been put together by a Salinger fan who wanted the works to be widely disseminated, according to The Guardian. The text of the three works was scanned and uploaded to sites, including Reddit, but have since been removed.
