Posted on January 14, 2000

Universal Map Enterprises, Inc., a publisher and distributor of geographic information, has announced the acquisition of Mosher- Adams, Inc. The purchase included over 1,000 map titles developed over the company's 53-year history.

"We are extremely excited about what we can do with the assets of Mosher- Adams," said Universal Map president Greg Bond. "They fit well into the customer bases of our Direct-Store-Delivery, Custom and Wall Map Sales Divisions."

The acquisition opens new doors in the Oklahoma City market, as well as other cities across the country. Approximately 100-200 of the maps will be converted to retail products over the next few years for distribution through convenience stores, book stores and discount retailers. The balance of the maps are customized products for chambers of commerce, and may be utilized by Universal Map's Custom Sales Division.
