Website Lists Fictitious Books Mentioned Inside Novels

Posted on August 1, 2005

The Invisible Library keeps a record of fictitious books and periodicals that are mentioned inside of novels. Here you will find a record of books like Ultra-Complete Maximegalon Dictionary of Every Language Ever (mentioned in Life, The Universe, and Everything by Douglas Adams); Misery's Child by Paul Sheldon (mentioned in Misery by Stephen King); and Magical Me by Gilderoy Lockhart (mentioned in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling).

It is a very interesting list. You can also get to the listing using the invisiblelibrary.org domain.
