Who's Down is a new social app from Google. The app is designed to help you find out which - if any - of your friends are available to do stuff. The app was quietly released on Google Play.

The app lets you quickly use a slider to find out which of your friends are available to hang out. You can show your friends that you are available for doing stuff. You can also customize it to show what types of activities you are available for. According to these screen shot the activities could include just about anything such as "grab tacos, study, go for a hike" or "get lunch." The app also lets users chat and make plans.

Google, Inc. says, "Instantly see which of your friends are free to hang out, right when you are. And with one slider, you can let your friends know you’re down to hang out too. It's that simple."

If it works like it should the app may make it easier to connect with friends that having to text everyone plans and ideas. The app is currently invite-only. The app can be found here on Google Play. 9to5Google reports that the app is also available for iOS devices.
