Next Wimpy Kid Book, The Long Haul, Arrives in Stores on November 4, 2014

The next book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, The Long Haul, arrives in stores on November 4, 2014. The lay down date was announced by Amulet Books, an imprint of Abrams. Each book in the incredibly popular series has featured a different color. The color for this book is fiery orange. Greg Heffley does not look thrilled to be in the car.

Michael Jacobs, CEO of Abrams, says in the announcement, "The next Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, The Long Haul, promises to be Jeff's best book yet. This Diary of a Wimpy kid release will also be the biggest book of the year, just as in years past. It is another hilarious and historic milestone in the incredibly popular and evergreen series. These books have turned millions of kids on to reading. The Long Haul will do the same."

Jeff Kinney's Wimpy Kid series has a staggering 120 million copies in print. The book has been published in 44 different languages. There have also been three films based on the books.
