Woodward and Bernstein: Together Again

Posted on June 10, 2005

Now that Mark Felt has been revealed as the mysterious Deep Throat, Bob Woodward is moving at light speed to finish his latest book, The Secret Man: The Story of Watergate's Deep Throat. And it looks like Carl Bernstein will be involved, as well.

Taegan Goddard's Political Wire notes that Bernstein will contribute an essay to the book, which the new bookcover calls "a reporter's assessment." The book will be published in July by Simon and Schuster and is already pre-selling briskly.

Update: The 256 page book is out and it does include a reporter's assessment by Bernstein. You can watch a video of Woodward discussing the book on C-SPAN.

Simon & Schuster says, "Woodward tells the story of his long, complex relationship with W. Mark Felt, the enigmatic former No. 2 man in the FBI who helped end the presidency of Richard Nixon."

The book is available for purchase from Amazon.com.
