Yahoo Teams Up with National Geographic Society

Yahoo! Inc. announced it has joined forces with the National Geographic Society to bring in-depth editorial to Yahoo!® Travel, Yahoo!'s comprehensive source for travel information and booking reservations. Starting today, travelers searching for information on city destinations around the globe and states in the U.S. have access to detailed articles from National Geographic Traveler magazine, in addition to the resources available through Yahoo! Travel.

"Appearing on Yahoo! Travel provides another opportunity for National Geographic Traveler magazine to do what it does best -- inspire people to get out of their armchairs and explore the world," said Keith Bellows, editor of National Geographic Traveler magazine.

The new information from National Geographic Traveler can be found under the "Featured Article" area within many of the city categories on Yahoo! Travel. More than 75 National Geographic Traveler articles ranging from cities such as Copenhagen to domestic and international parks such as Banff National Park in Canada can be found on Yahoo! Travel and many more will be added over the coming weeks. Each National Geographic Traveler article provides individuals with a unique up-to-date perspective into the destination -- whether it is a tour through the streets of the city, a closer look at the people who live there or details on the main attractions the location has to offer.
