Posted on October 24, 2001

Ziff Davis Media Inc. has launched Baseline, a monthly publication providing senior-level information technology and corporate executives with analysis and reporting on how to cost, deploy and manage information systems. The editorial mission of the 125,000-controlled circulation publication is to provide content that gives senior technology and corporate executives an in-the-field look at how companies deploy new, complex information systems. Baseline's subscribers are senior business and information technology executives.

``Ziff Davis Media is committed to providing readers and advertising customers with products and services that address their evolving needs. Baseline's unique editorial approach delivers on that promise by supplying IT leaders with critical case knowledge they need to implement next generation IT initiatives,'' said Chairman and CEO Robert Callahan.

According to Baseline Editor-in-Chief Tom Steinert-Threlkeld, ``All our research as well as interviews and conversations with senior technology and corporate executives show a great hunger for information about the real challenges and hurdles their peers have had to overcome to get new systems deployed and goals achieved. Baseline is designed to sate that hunger.''
